Since 2019, Elevation Community Land Trust has been opening doors to welcome people home across Colorado. Using the community land trust model, a proven tool for creating and preserving wealth in communities, ECLT is on a mission to make homeownership possible for working families seeking the stability, security and opportunity of home.

Our Model For
Expanding access to homeownership through below-market rate housing and a shared equity resale formula written into the land lease.Â
Low to moderate income members of the community, who would otherwise be likely to rent or be displaced, are able to build wealth through ownership.Â
Maintaining community ties and fostering collective power through democratic decision making and relationship building in our tripartite board.Â
WHO WE SERVE
ECLT serves hard-working households that have been otherwise priced out of market-rate homeownership. Our homes are to be affordable earning 70% the Area Median Income based on community.
With over 220 ECLT homeowners as a March 2024, our program has helped teachers, non-profit workers, healthcare staff and professionals in hospitality, retail, food service and countless other professional achieve the dream of homeownership across Colorado.
